This is a guide for middle school teachers. It is meant to provide support in an effort to close the gap in student reading abilities.
Students that have two or more scores on a performance test, such as STAR, Global Scantron, or ACT aspire that identify them as being two years below current grade level in reading are in need of intensive intervention.
